About Us

Pediatric Behavioral Services, LLC (PBS) is a clinic that provides center- and home-based behavior analytic services to children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. PBS specializes in treating autism-spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Driven by the principles of applied behavior analysis, PBS is committed to providing scientifically-based services with the highest quality to the children we serve. Our mission is to help every child reach their highest potential by providing comprehensive and individualized behavioral services. 

 Our Staff

All our Behavior Analysts hold National Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Our Behavior Therapists also have vast experience working with children with developmental disabilities and behavioral difficulties. All staff members are trained in working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities using effective methods based on the principles of ABA.  PBS staff members are highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated professionals. Staff members all are certified by the American Red Cross for CPR and First Aid. Furthermore, the entire PBS staff is Certified Level II Practitioners in Professional Crisis Management (PCM).

Alysia Gilliam, M.A., BCBA

Alysia Gilliam is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is committed to providing clients with the most comprehensive and effective treatments.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Florida State University, and her Masters of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida. She has vast experience working with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, including residential facilities, schools, clinics, and in-home settings.  Mrs. Gilliam's areas of expertise include the development, implementation and supervision of Verbal Behavior programs for children with autism to teach skills such as language/functional communication, academic skills, social skills, self-help skills and compliance behavior.  She also has experience implementing behavior reduction programs, intensive toilet training programs for children who are difficult to train, and intensive feeding programs for children who have very limited diets due to sensory issues or behavioral concerns.  Mrs. Gilliam has attended several workshops/trainings on a variety of topics including Applied Behavior Analysis, Verbal Behavior, Parent Training, Classroom Management Strategies, Social Skills Training, Behavior Reduction, and Toilet Training.  She has also conducted parent workshops, staff in-services, and presented at professional conferences. Mrs. Gilliam is a member of the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA), The Association for Professional Behavior Analysts, and the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
